We find that some of our most memorable experiences are made by staying close to home, and the longer we live in Utah, the more we find there is to do and to explore.
Almost everybody seems to like mini-golfing and bowling. So do we! Although none of us are great at either one, we sure love kick off our worries and just have fun when we go.
Camping and hiking are always fun for us. In fact, if he had time, I'm sure Matt would be outdoors every weekend. There are many great canyons around us that offer some nice camping sites and hiking trails. Here we are after an easy hike to some local falls (see them in the background?).

Our family on "Mars" at the planetariumRight here at home, we are making memories, too. Every spring and summer, LeMira plants a garden. Some years are better than others, but we love our fresh veggies in the fall!
In fall, we absolutely love Halloween! Every year we carve a Jack-0-Lantern for our front steps,
and we go "all out" for the activities we attend.

At a community Trunk or Treat 2008-- Matt made this Plinko Board, and LeMira made the Price is Right banner for the trunk. The kids "won" their candy at our trunk. They kept coming back for more.

When we can, we love to travel. We get a lot of driving in to visit our families and see sights along the way.
